Israel is the only country in the Middle East that has its own citizens owning guns, all other countries fear their citizens. You could be sent to Egypt after a face change to topple that slimmy government. There are a lot of Muslims are trying just that.
If you make it to the USA their are large populations of former Iran citizens here that have open arms. They also have daughters. If you have a skill that the country can use in a couple of years your an American citizen.
China has said that they can just as easy work with the next government in Iran as with this one. This one look as if it will topple any day.
You sure you did not paint in Iran?

@Matthew: yes, i do consider Turkey and Israel as democracies. That is why I find the article's comparison of Israel and Iran so inappropriate. Like the author, one can easily 'defend' an undemocratic decision by Turkish politicians as "but we have a much better democracy than any Arab country'. True, but that is so besides the point…

I thank you all for commenting and making excellent points – please do enlighten me of your definition of 'terrorism': let's start with 'terrorist activity' and then we can move on to 'terrorist organization'. i have my ideas, but want to learn yours

The obsession with Israel's supposed misdeeds doesn't only hurt us in Israel, it hurts millions of others in the Middle East, allowing Arab and Muslim leaders to literally get away with murder.
