You should thank your false god for Israel's willingness to trade it for peace. If I were in charge of their government I would've have totally destroyed your people once and for al,l with extreme prejudice for breaking the cease fire, and taken the land back, PERMANENTLY.

I believe in Jesus, as the Son of God, as part of the Godhead. John chapter 1 is clear on the deity of Christ… That being said, I am not of Jewish ancestry but I, along with every other person who has lived on this earth, am responsible for the death of Yeshua! It was for the sins of mankind that He was sacrificed… It boggles my mind how there can be people calling themselves Christians and blaming Christ's death on the Jewish people. Ms. Campbell, your faith in Jesus is a beautiful thing and if it provides you with spiritual strength, it's all for the better. But I think you should bear in mind that the Holy Trinity did not become Church docrine until about three centuries after your Saviour's crucifiction. And if the emperor Constantine had sided with the Arians at the council of Nicaea and had changed some of the bishops' views by a single iota, the Trinity would have never materialized and the Church would look very different today.

Jesus is part of the Holy Trinity, God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. Yes He was "killed', but He came to earth so that He would give up His life for the atonement of the sins of the world. He rose into Heaven, and will be returning to earth from Heaven to gather His saints. Those who have accepted Him as their Saviour and will be taken into Heaven to live with Him.

So what if we killed Jesus? We didn't kill a Christian; he was one of us, our Giordano Bruno, if you wish. The fact that post-crucifiction he was made into a god is not our responsibility. Before his death, not even his most ardent supporters, like Peter and James, considered him to be a god. The Messiah maybe but not god. His birth, ascension to heaven and graduation to deity is a throwback to Greco-Roman culture a la Hercules. In any case, if he had been allowed by the High Priest to live and die years later of natural causes, there would be no Christianity today or, if there would be one, it would look like an esoteric Jewish sect comparable to the Karaites and all those accusing us of deicide would probably be pagans or something much worse, Jews.
