As we all know, trees are important as a source of oxygen, They also provide shade, which helps keep us cool as well as to protect us from sunburn. The same way the roots of a tree stream water and nutrients throughout the branches, leaves, blossoms and ripening fruit, our souls are implanted with spiritual roots that stream Light. Yes, Light! This is the Light of torah, the Light that cleanses our hearts and gardens our spirits. This is the Light that can smoke out our arrogance, ionize stony hearts into spiritual energy, weed out hate, unclog our roots, and the Light gardens our spirits. This is the Light that reforms.
In a perfect state, our souls would reflect this Light, the same way it came into to us as clear. But we are far from perfect. The rainbows that we emit, correspond to our current states of correction. What causes the diffraction, are the inner weeds seeds, which can be germinated at any given time, enervating and clogging up our roots. This detachment keeps us from perceiving them, which limits our perception of reality. The detachment keeps our rainbow emissions in the darkest sapphire state.
Beginning at the dark sapphire state, this is our most egoistic state, polluted with particulates and stony hearts. This dark state is also our drive that can either be utilized to feed our own egos or rise or transform into the intention into giving. In the beginning, our rainbow is mostly dark and murky. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. would have described this state as a protective “Stone of Hope”.
Implanted within our dark spiritual sapphire is a tiny emerald green implant, the tip of our spiritual root, Every time we begin to garden nature’s botanical creations, this tiny point begins to scintillate. Like a seed beginning to germinate and breaking through into the air, this gardening intention conditions our souls to help garden each other traverse through their own inner rainbows.
When we pick stones from the garden bed, root feed a rose bush or even pick a weed, a spiritual pixel fires up within our inner sensation for the very first time. providing ever increasing high definitions of nature. Our inner stems begin to grow along, leaves as the thorns. Every time we overcome these painful challenges, we further unclog our spiritual roots, purifying the Light that much more.
Our rainbow begins to change. The dark sapphire color gives way to every broadening bands of emerald green. By learning to nurture nature, nature nurtures us back. We feel sensations of fulfillment that we never experienced before. That stone hard protective promise of hope transforms into an interconnecting screen. The leaves shade us in a manner which allows us experience heightened sensations of G-d and Nature.
Eventually a scintillating ruby red band begins to emerge and then a band of white hot scintillating diamond. This is the heavenly Intention that we begin to acquire for irradiating inner weeds and stony hearts and then ionizing these particles as fuel, for conducting this this heavenly intention as our unique aura eloquence.
Our scintillating red ruby rainbow bands allow us to distinguish genuine love which flows with giving, and fake love that keeps us in the darkness. The former inspires us to weed out hate, the latter seduces us to propagate hatred. The former allows us to experience the full nature of the Light. The slightest bit of dark intention within our hopes and desires, causes them to precipitate back down to earthy on a snowy Jerusalem day.
By participating in community gardening, our rainbows connect We flush out each others egoistical pollutants, purifying our rainbows that much more. What began as a dark sapphire state, ascends into emerald, ruby, and white, which eventually leads us into the diamond matrix, in which every single act of giving, an extension the rainbow intention, breathes fresh life into the Intelligent Design of Peace.
This is a peace in which willing participates rise into and populate, as compared to manmade brokered peace accords, that are woven tightly to keep the virulent weed-like forces dormant, waiting for the first cracks in the fabric to pierce through. This is “stone of hope” peace that Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. described. Fifty years after Dr. King, have his “I Have A Dream” speech, there still remain all to many weed seeds of hatred.
Just imagine the possibilities your children along with others from all over the world would each extract a symbolic weed of hatred and replenish it with a seed of peace! Together, we would cultivate our Promised Land vision for bearing the ultimate fruit that connects with God, Nature, and each other. We would treat each other as we would like to be treated, rooting out hate and evil and planting love and respect in our hearts and in our gardens. Then, we could experience the ultimate blossoms of freedom. Let us weed out hate, and breathe fresh life into Peace.
Happy Tu B’Shevat!
Happy Martin Luther King, Jr. Day!
