Ilan Manor -dont u get it? we dont care to discuss anything that has to do anything with public display of sex-whether u r straight, gay, transgender, transvestite, transsexual, transylvanian etc…
Dont u guys get it: we dont care!!!! Just as i dont walk around screaming i m straight, why do i have to know what it is they prefer to do in the bedroom…what is there to be proud of….why am i not proud of being straight? Israel is not becoming-it alway has been a conservative place to live and to yo dismay majority is still choosing to stay that way–that's tough on the liberals but the fact still remains-majority do not think it is an important issue, majority do not see it as something that needs to be dealt with and do not count it as of importance when discussing vision for the country.

I think that the old "we have more important things to deal with… like the next war" is a great way of never actually talking about important issues. Israelis are always preparing for their doom. If its not Iran its Hizbollah or someone else. The fact is that the anti gay rehtoric must be discussed as it demonstrates the fact that Israel is becoming a very conservative place to live in. It is an important issue as it delas with the very nature of the society and country we live in and our vision for that country. No need to sweep this issue under the rug.

Again, doesn't Israel have other more urgent problems to solve right now? In the UK, its clearly a cheap stunt on the part of David Cameron to get down with the younger voters and the debate was regarded, even by those who don't object to whatever people do in private, as a waste of Parliamentary time and tax-payers' money when we have other problems, and we aren't even at war or in imminent danger.Its worth remembering that this is a function of age as much as political or religious allegiance (especially for anybody who's going to start yelling at me).

So in my opinion you seem to be misquoting Feiglin in order to demonize him. This is of course another straw man argument in protraying all the Right as homophobic without really getting into what they say.

IMO. people's sexual prefernces are a private matter as long as they keep it private. The public sphere doesn't have to applaud all and every behaviour and most religious would rather that also openly hetrosexual behaviour be kept in reign in our public places (as well as the army).

That doesn't being anti women and non romantic but rather modest and respectful of all.
