Brian, great article, agree with all the points you make, would only add the following:

1) second-generation bio-fuels are made from woody plants and all kinds of organic waste so we wouldn't strictly be burning "food". Still a stop-gap but a much more acceptable one, particularly as I've just bought a diesel-powered Passat. )
2) I'd have liked to have heard more about how hydrogen power is a "hoax". Maybe in another article?

Yes, its all about funding. Science is unfortunately underfunded in most western countries (not Israel) so there is huge pressure to conform to the Global Warming conspiracy because its a great earner for scientists. Re world opinion, have a look at what the UN just did re "Palestine".

There is no scientific evidence, merely herd opinion (motivated by more $ available for research if there is a scare) and inaccurate computer modelling. Scientific evidence can only be produced as the result of controlled, duplicable experiments. This is impossible in the case of the Man made global warming fallacy. We Israeli's know how unbiased and knowledgeable world herd opinion is.

The evidence is clear I'm sorry to say. Denial won't help our planet. For that reason driving electric cars is an essential step in the right direction.
The next step is to make sure our electricity doesn't come from burning fossil fuels.
The future is mostly solar.

Its funny how people without Science degrees cite scientific opinion while those with science degrees (Brian and myself) understand the limitations of science and that the global warming models are much less accurate than a 2 weeks out weather forecast.

Fantastic Article. If you want to stop the terrorists hit them financially. Shurat HaDin does it by suing them. Iron Dome does it by destroying their rockets and Better Place does it by targeting the ultimate source of their $ – Oil.
