You answered that WE are invalidated because we disagree with your immature reasoning. You think that Hagel is the best thing for Israel since felafel, and there's no need to worry. The list of his stances and statements fly in the face of that reasoning, and combined with real state- of- israel -concern for his stances, you state that those reasons don't exist. That's parallel universe existence which makes one wonder why you take that stance, like did someone from from the NIF ask you to write this, or were you given an assignment to play the devi;l's advocate, or you really think that this guy is Andy of Mayberry. Or, like so many of your kind who can't understand why your logical set of reasoning doesn't win elections, you need to wish something into existence so the world will love you and not try to kill you."… every soldier should be interviewed by you to make sure that they are in line with your own opinions…" that's such a limp statement—There's more people who agree with me than with you; that's why the left is trying to devise some kind of blocking mechanism for the elections. that's why the AG and the courts went after Lieberman, NOW, and allowed Zoabi , a terrorist , to remain in the Knesset; not for political rights, but as a foil. The electorate stands behind defending Israel because it is in danger, and that danger is not from people who remain steadfast , but from people, who think that Israel needs "tough love" from people outside who REALLY know what's good for Israel. So, yeah, I trust my sons to defend us,m not you, who is ambivalent , and harbors doubts about our rights here. You'r emuch younger than I, and don't have the experience of being here for as long, having seen what has occurred here; you have no perspective. More important, you are afraid to stand strong because you might not be loved.

In regards to the "Jewish lobby" and your remark that the government does a lot of dumb things that are not in it's interest…you're right. After all Israel controls the world's oil supplies and how it's priced. Obama not only visited Israel as president…but also bowed to the Prime Minister. Press TV and Al Jazeera are all Jewish owned. I wonder how many politicians have their pockets filled by the oil lobby? How many university campuses? The controversy surrounding the so called "Jewish lobby" is not overrated at all.

Robin Stamler raised some valid points re Hagel that deserved to be addressed…especially when you pen a silly and ill informed article. Don't try to ignore the facts and white wash the unacceptable. Your support of someone like Hagel is the epitome of what is mentally wrong with so called "liberals" today.
