Are you joking? Ethnic cleansing? You might do yourself a favor by reading up on the Bosnian conflict and the Rwandan conflict and the goings on in Sudan before you accuse a democratic State of ethnic cleansing. By the way, if Israel does this, why the hell are over 1 million Arabs living in Israel after 65 years? This shoots your theory in the heart.

Diane I saw your facebook page and you really have an Israel Hate Fetish. I noted that the only time you care about Pal deaths is when it involves Israel. You are a wonderful example of the hypocrisy and faux self-righteousness this article speaks of. Your only draw to the Palestinians is your hatred for the Jewish State. Like the article says you are not a real friend of the Pals, but just another racist supporting policies and rhetoric which only lead to more dead Pals. Shame on you.

Dianne sadly you are ignorant of history. Most of the Pals living in Syria are refugees from Jordan, and they moved to Jordan after Jordan Annexed the West Bank of what? back in 1948.

I feel the need to break this down. The Left hates Israel ever since Stalin decided in the 50's to portray Israel as a Western European proxy for continued European Imperialism and colonialism. Note back in the 50's the Americans were not major supporters of the Jewish State.
The Arabs hate Israel because she has turned out to be their ultimate humiliation, sitting as it does in the middle of the Islamic empre. Thus Israel represents to the Arab and Muslim world a great shame and loss of honor, and honor is what makes the Arab world turn and scratch.
The Far right, which usually is represented in this forum by Ron Paulbot neo Nazis, disguised as Libertarians, simply hate Israel because it represents Jewish survival and national lberation.
As for those Jews on the Left, sure they are wed to ideology, but the real reasons for their unsurpassed hatred is more a dilema for Freud to solve, then anything even remotely rational.
