One day, I was in court and my opponents and I reached an agreement, at which point the lawyer of the other party started screaming to her clients: Don’t do this, don’t make a deal.

So I said out loud: She’s trying to make war to get rich — she not here for you guys — she’s here only for herself. She’s just lying.

To which the lawyer threatened to sue me for defamation.

At which point I started roaring with laughter. What do you mean for defamation? Because I call you dishonest? That’s not defamation. That’s the definition of a lawyer. If you can’t lie, you’re a terrible lawyer. She had no comeback on that one and stopped disrupting the peace.

President Donald Trump’s lawyer, Rudy Giuliani, said he stands by his recent comments that adult film actress Stormy Daniels has no credibility because of her profession, and for that reason she must be a con artist. Let’s unpack that.

Giuliani is a long-term friend of Israel but that doesn’t mean that anything goes whatever he says.

Adult actresses are actresses. Of course, it’s ridiculous to call actors con people because they play a role on the set or stage. Their art is to perform, but that’s not dishonesty. Only pretending in their free time is dishonest. Or other people during work, like a president. Just like a professional boxer can only hit his opponent in the ring – not outside of it. There is no need to call such a person aggressive and there is no reason to call an actor a fake.

He also said that people who sell their bodies (which I think means prostitutes, which is something different altogether) have no moral value left and so are dishonest. Truth is that whores have nothing to lose and privately likely would be more honest than the average bloke.

His stand is from the time of slavery, where slave-owners thought they could do with their slaves as pleased them.

And from the time that men assumed that rape was not rape if it concerned “their own” wife or a prostitute.

He also implies that feminists should not fight for whores.

He’s dead wrong on all of the above.

Lastly, the lawyer made the point that she sells herself for money, so that shows that she’s willing to do anything for money and must be corrupt. Wait a second — look who’s talking!
