A 'Palestinian State' is for the Palestinians surely..... not for a bunch of Arab Refugees who have chosen to adopt the name for themselves when they had been abandoned by their Leaders... The Authentic Palestinians [in English] are the Phillistines of Aegean origin and they have meanwhile faded out of History... and next in line would be the Jews of 'Palestine' under Roman Occupation. ARABS have no connection to Palestine at all except for having lived under British Mandated Palestine together with Jews, Armenians and others as 'Palestinians' for only 24 years but held no Passport whatever and furthermore ALL had to legally and lawfully return to their original native status when Israel was RE-ESTABLISHED and they all DID.... except for the ARABS........

Well if we're waiting for a reasonable Arab and/or Muslim world I think we're going to be in for quite a wait. Being reasonable is seen as weakness in their culture/religion, and weakness means death to them. Truth is, the very basis for negotiations needs to have a complete overhaul and change. From now on the basis needs to start from an acknowledgement that Jews are indigenous to the Land of Israel and have a traditional, cultural, historical and religious connection to the land and Holy places that stretches nearly 4000 years. Until the Jewish peoples' unique relationship to the land is achknowledged within the Muslim world (and the UN and EU and etc etc) there will be no peace. Right now, peace is not even slightly possible, let alone on the horizon.

As usual, the Left is advocating for the so-called Palestinians. The Right is fighting to prevent further Arab encroachment on the Land of Israel.

Asking what the Right proposes as a solution is calling fora game in which only one side will be forced to show its hand. The Arabs have presented no solution either, and will not, until both sides decide to sit down to negotiate a reasonable compromise. We will wait a long time for Arabs to become reasonable.

Salam Fayad is the closest an Arab has come to do the hard work of creating functioning state institutions. He is held in contempt by his own people. They don't want a state, they want international handouts, and they want Israel destroyed.

Meanwhile the Arabs suffer and Israel prospers. Which model presents itself as worthy of emulation?

There are two refugee issues to be considered. We act as though only the somewhat dubious PalArab claim is at issue when the greater issue of the Jews from Arab countries calls for justice that must be part of the equation. "We haven't begun to fight!"
