18 Activities for Sukkot 2014

Sukkot is one of my favorite times in Israel. The weather begins to cool down and the exciting festivals, activities and events take center stage. This year, after such a hard summer, the anticipation is even greater. It is hard to choose our favorite activities but the number 18 always brings good luck.  Here are a list of some of our favorite 18 activities this Sukkot 2014. Ein Hemed Storytelling Festival – one of the closest National Parks to Jerusalem and a great festival for young kids
Ein Yael Harvest Festival take a step back into ancient times
Kite Festival – kite flying and workshops for all ages

Formula One Peace Road Show & Exhibit watch the Formula One racers speed through the ancient streets. Visit our calendar for a detailed schedule for the event including route map and times.
Hapoel Jerusalem Basket Ball Camp with Tamir Goodman – meet the “Jewish Jordan” and learn new skills while having fun. Campers receive special Hapoel merchandise.

Old City Scavenger Hunt – race through the Old City during this exciting family game
Gush Etzion “Car” Scavenger Hunt – visit natural springs, historical locations and learn the history of the Gush.
Shuk Dash – race through Mahane Yehuda as you solve different missions.
Ropes Course at Ammunition Hill reserve your own group and take the challenge. Omega, Rope ladder, rope swing and more.
Volunteer at Ohr Meit & Bracha – pack boxes of food for the chag for families of terror victims. It’s a fun family activity with a purpose.
