Towards shallower waters

Taken to task for war crimes by Amnesty International, about to be strong-armed into accepting the US Secretary of State’s ‘framework’ proposals and now threatened by Hezbollah for attacking its Syrian supplied missile convoy, Israel does seem to be in waters somewhat deeper than normal these days.

Perhaps it’s time to persuade everyone to carefully make their way to the shallow end of the pool and chill out there for a good long while.

Long enough, perhaps, to settle issues in a much more civilised manner and with definitely far less trauma than anything experienced hitherto.
