America, Hear our Cry. We are the 47%

Days like these that remind me of Bob Dylan’s “Times they are a changing” song.  Political, religious, and economic fundamentalists try to instill rage, fear, and hatred within us, keeping us detached from our genuine American Dream roots. They try to convince us that we are to blame for the rest of America not attaining the American Dream.

We are no longer satisfied with their meager trickle-down enticements. We are the 47% and want to tap our roots and get back to the garden (Remember Woodstock?)

As a Jewish American author I spent ten years researching the nature and significance of my Jewish roots. As you know, Dr. King had a special place in his heart for Israel and the Jews. The majority of the White community that marched with him were Jewish.  Even today, we feel the plight of the 47% more than most.

For over two thousand years, we have been a secret spiritual mission, to help the world weed out hate and sow the seeds of peace.  We have been extending our Wandering Jew shoots from Jewish roots into American gardens and those throughout the rest of the world.  These Jewish roots do not belong to us; they have a heavenly purpose and must be strengthened and fortified, for what lies ahead. You are part of us and we are part of you.

When the hate mongers strive to weed out our social programs, we shall respond by public demonstrations of solidarity to weed out this hate. This is our hidden wisdom.

About the Author
As the eldest grandson of Ross Daniels, the inventor of a horticultural irrigation tool for deep watering and feeding at the deepest roots, Marc spent the first half of his career learning about global gardening and gardener's trends. Ten years ago, he began thinking about how to take his grandfather's vision to the next level, for inspiring humanity to weed out hate and sow the seeds of peace through spiritual gardening.
