Another perspective on Israel

“In Israel, a land lacking in natural resources, we learned to appreciate our greatest national advantage: our minds. Through creativity and innovation, we transformed barren deserts into flourishing fields and pioneered new frontiers in science and technology.”
–Shimon Peres

Most of the time when you read about Israel, unfortunately many get association about it only as a war zone.

Have you ever thought about Israel as the land of science?

Have you ever thought about Israel as a leader in global innovation sector?

For instance, thanks to Israeli global innovation sector agricultural and water technologies and solar have the power to save lives in Africa?

To be more precise, I will put a quotation from an article about that specific innovation:

“Harnesses the power of solar energy to pump water from aquifers, providing clean water to villages for the first time; its drip-irrigation installations allow villagers to grow more food with less water, even in times of drought; and its solar panels power medical centers, providing light inside and outside, as well as refrigeration to store medicines and vaccines. The same solar-generated energy powers schools and orphanages.”

Furthermore, have you ever heard about a project: “Save a Child’s heart (SACH)?”

SACH is a humanitarian organisation which brings children from all over the world is in Israel for their life saving surgery.

As a matter of fact, did you know that IDF set up a field hospital to treat wounded Syrian civilians?

Have you ever thought about Israel as the land that according David Ben Gurion: “In order to be a realist you must believe in miracles.”

Have you ever thought about Israel as land of Start-up Nation?

Additionally, have you ever thought about Israel as a small country with big heart whose innovations bring prosperity to the world?

Have you ever thought about Israel as a land of happy people who will warmly welcome you?

Have you ever thought about Israel as a land of random people where someone may say you: “Shalom, welcome”, and he/she even does not know you.

Have you ever thought about “shuck adventure” in Israel? Colorful markets, shucks, where you can hear: “Come, have a look, special price only for you.”

Shuck (market) is a place where either you freak out of noise or you just enjoy, take deep breath, smile and figure out some new color, which could become symbol of beautiful moment. TOI1

All things considered, next time when you hear or read something about Israel, take a moment and think about Israel from another perspective.

Definitely, maybe you just need come to visit and feel positive vibes of Holy Land
