About Me
Adi Moran recently graduated with a Bachelor of Social Work from Toronto Metropolitan University in Canada. Before that, she studied Event Management and Marketing at George Brown College. Her professional journey has been a blend of social work and event organizing, driven by her passion for supporting others and creating meaningful connections. Being deeply connected to her Jewish heritage is a big part of who she is. Her father is Israeli, and spending almost every summer in Israel has been a defining experience for her. Those trips have enriched her life with a deep appreciation for the country’s culture and a strong sense of identity. However, since the events of October 7th, she has been grappling with the rise of antisemitism, especially on university campuses. It’s been disheartening to see how poorly these issues are addressed, often escalating into calls for violence instead of promoting peaceful dialogue and coexistence. This has shaken her sense of safety and challenged her Jewish identity. In response to these challenges, she is dedicated to sharing her own experiences and advocating for a world where we move towards understanding and unity. She believes in the power of storytelling to bridge divides and create empathy. By speaking out, she hopes to foster a society that values education, peace, and mutual respect over division and conflict.
