Alexandra Bentes is a senior at Don Soffer Aventura High School (Miami, Florida), where she is president of the student club of CADENA, the global
aid organization; co-president of Miami’s Ellie’s Army Club for children with life-threatening illnesses; and a member of the National Honor Society, Jewish Student Union, Student Government Association and Model United Nations. She is a winner of the 2025 Hadassah Leaders of Tomorrow Award for young women who have demonstrated a commitment to Israel and the Jewish people, and the ability to inspire others, and an alumna of Hadassah partner Young Judaea, its Gesher Israel summer program and AMHIS, the Jewish National Fund’s Israel program for high school students.
