Mr. Doran is a senior research fellow with the Philos Project. He previously served at the US Department of State, most recently on the secretary's Policy Planning Staff. He also co-founded an NGO to advocate for religious minority rights in the Middle East and has authored numerous articles on foreign policy, national security, human rights, and various religious, social, and cultural issues. He's a U.S. Army veteran.
