Ann is an Intellectual Property & Business Attorney, and Industry Expert in Government Research & Development (R&D) programs. She is the Founder of AML Global LLC (https://www.amlgloballlc.com), a Government Affairs Advisory Company, specializing in both U.S. and international government R&D and technology programs, policy, and agency matters. The nature of her work has her tracking the most current developments in emerging technology policy and changing areas of intellectual property law. Her clients are technology companies and organizations seeking advisory services on matters specific to R&D, technology, and innovation.
As an Attorney with government and private sector experience, Ann has interacted with all branches of U.S. Government, international programs offices, and is internationally known for her expertise in government R&D and technology development programs.
Ann also managed the United States Israel Science & Technology Foundation [USISTF] (http://usistf.org), an organization that was originally created from a joint U.S. & Israel government initiative to facilitate international research cooperation. Before joining the USISTF as Executive Director, Ann served as a Legislative Assistant & Counsel to United States Senator Jim Bunning. While working as Senior Staff in the U.S. Senate, she managed a diverse legislative portfolio which included Commerce, NASA, Science & Technology, Homeland Security, Aviation, Transportation and Infrastructure, and Workforce Development issues. Prior to her work in the U.S. Senate, Ann served in senior staff positions on political campaigns and was in private practice.
Ann has a degree in Physics from Lake Forest College, where she proudly completed four years on her school’s NCAA Division III Swim Team. She graduated from the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law, where she specialized in Intellectual Property.
