I am a Michigan writer with essays published in “The New York Times,” L.A. Times and “Detroit Free Press.” “The Accidental Teacher: Life Lessons from my Silent Son," a memoir about raising a son with severe autism, was published by University of Michigan Press. I have also published short fiction and am currently finishing a novel about a family's unique Jewish journey in America.
