Rabbi Ariel Tal is an experienced educator, Rabbi and marketing expert, serving in positions in both North America and Israel. Rabbi Tal has a B.Ed from Ohalo College in the Golan Heights, Israel, Rabbinical Semicha from Israel Chief Rabbinate, and is a Personal Coach through Da’at U’Tevuna School in Rechovot, Israel.
In 2009-2010 he served as the Vancouver NCSY Director in British Columbia, through Schara Tzedeck Synagogue. Rabbi Tal lead the biggest Shabbaton turnout in Vancouver NCSY history until that point, and also led teen groups in Jewish learning and experiences regularly at the local JCC, his own home and even at a local Starbucks for Latte & Learning.
From 2010-2013 Rabbi Tal taught in Toronto at Netivot HaTorah Day School. There he managed the informal educational department of the Middle School and Elementary school together with Mrs. Rochelle Diamond, which included inviting guest speakers, managing the student council (SALO) and, of course, taking a lead on designing the Tefilla for the middle school together with the leadership of Rabbi Elliot Diamond, the school’s Vice Principal. The following year, in 2013-14, Rabbi Tal served as school Rabbi and educator for Kibbutz Lavi’s Primary school.
In 2014-2015 Rabbi Tal served as Marketing Director for Livnot U’Lehibanot in Tzfat. Rabbi Tal managed to create a new leadership program and filled both campuses thoughout the summer, with three programs running simultaneously, made possible by cultivating relationships with key organizations in the Jewish world in Israel and the Diaspora.
