Dr. Arielle Berger is a geriatrician and assistant professor in the Department of Medicine at the University of Toronto. In her clinical practice at Toronto Grace Health Center, she helps older adults with frailty and multimorbidity to live with dignity and purpose. She is an experienced medical educator, teaching communication and professionalism skills to doctors in training and in practice. She is currently pursuing rabbinic ordination through the Shalom Hartman Institute and teaches Torah and mindfulness to groups across Toronto, helping older adults live with purpose and meaning. She consults with organizations to help them implement Age-Friendly Community principles into their work.
