Dr. Avi Marcovitz, who holds a PhD in Holocaust and Genocide Studies and an EdD in education, is a Holocaust educator with over 25 years of experience, including work in Holocaust memorial museums across North America, and is a former director at Yad Vashem’s International School for Holocaust Studies. He was also the founder of Best Buddies Israel, (Kennedy NGO) which focuses on friendships with individuals with intellectual disabilities.
