My name is Avi Steinberg and I am the Director of BE ISRAEL. I was born and raised in the Jewish community of Dublin, Ireland until the age of eight when I immigrated to Israel with my family. I currently live in Kfar Adumim with my wife and three daughters. I have a BA in education and political science. I completed a year of Jewish studies at the Schechter Institute and am currently studying for my MA in American Jewry studies at the Haifa University Ruderman program. In my free time, I like to travel in Israel and abroad. I love basketball and am preparing for the Tel Aviv 2020 marathon.
