Aviva Frankenthal is a 13-year-old student living in Rehovot, Israel. She grew up in Silicon Valley and made aliyah a year ago. She writes about the contrasts between American and Israeli life, as well as current events and cultural moments, from a thoughtful young perspective shaped by lived experience. Michael Oren and the Jewish Press have published her articles. Aviva is also the founder and CEO of her school’s newspaper.
