Born in Uruguay, Benito Roitman is an economist with degrees from Uruguay, Chile and USA (MA from Harvard). He worked at length with the United Nations (in Chile with CEPAL, and with ILO and FAO in Mexico and Rome). Consultant for the Inter-American Development Bank, the World Bank and WHO in various Latin American countries. Living in Israel since 2003.
