Hi. I am Chana Rachel Weinberg , founder of Chanabana.
Born in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, I made Aliyah with my family at the age of three to Beit Shemesh. My love for fashion began at the age of 15 when I found that my fuller body type was "too big" for Israeli fashion. I bought myself two sewing machines and started revenuously sewing. Later on I completed my BA in Shenkar Fashion school of Engineering and design. During my last year of studies I launched Chanabana; a new brand of modest sportswear. Chanabana caters to the modern women with a busy lifestyle and who values modesty and comfort. Living in Tel Aviv, I would like to share some of my perspective on culture and modesty.
