Daniel Lakin is an independent analyst of Middle Eastern security based in Washington, DC. His research focuses on the regional implications of Israeli politics and the Iran-Iraq-U.S. nexus. He is proficient in Turkish and Hebrew, and continues to sharpen his command of both languages.
Mr. Lakin holds an M.A. in International Security (summa cum laude) from the University of Denver’s Josef Korbel School of International Studies, where he was a Rice Scholar, and a B.A. in Political Science from Tufts University.
