Prof. David Harel from the Weizmann Institute is President of the Israel Academy of Sciences and Humanities. His has published numerous papers and books in theoretical and applied computer science, has received many awards and is a member of Academia Europaea, US National Academy of Sciences, US National Academy of Engineering, American Academy of Arts and Sciences, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and the Royal Society.
