A 1981 West Point graduate, Infantry Officer and Green Beret Captain, Dave Katz served in Europe, the United States and Central America. Obtaining a Masters’ of Science in 1989 from Carnegie Mellon University, he spent 12 years as an institutional investor in private equity culminating with founding his own registered investment advisory firm providing strategic guidance and advanced analytics on more than $3 billion of client private equity investment. Mr. Katz returned to US national security following 2001 in a variety of defense and intelligence positions. Currently, Mr. Katz is the founder of a Great Power Competition strategic advisory firm, DARACOM.
