Debbie Isaacs is a London-based couples psychotherapist and supervisor. As the daughter of a hidden child in Amsterdam, her work explores the impact of trauma across generations and the ways in which history continues to shape our relationships, identity and sense of belonging. Since October 7, her work has increasingly focused on the emotional impact of these events on Jewish and interfaith couples in the diaspora. Alongside facilitating Jewish community groups and speaking about intergenerational trauma, her consulting room has become a unique window into how fear, grief, identity and safety are finding their way into intimate relationships.
