Elan Karoll is an undergraduate student at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He studies Communication with a focus on media and politics. On campus, Elan served as co-President of Illini Public Affairs Committee - IlliniPAC, the leading student Israel advocacy organization. He helped lead campaigns to successfully defeat BDS referendums on campus, twice. Elan has interned for AIPAC, Israel on Campus Coalition, and Hasbara Fellowships. He is a member of the Abraham Joshua Heschel Honor Society and has been awarded a Medal of Friendship from the Israel Defense Forces National Military College. Elan grew up in the Chicago suburbs and has had a lifelong passion for Israel and the Jewish People.
