Professor Emerita of Theatre, Smith College, Fulbright Scholar. actress, director and playwright. She performs and directs internationally, (Pakistan, China, Israel, Costa Rica, Argentina, Puerto Rico and across the United States), and has been guest professor at Tel Aviv University., among many other universities. Extensive work with inmates, elders, adjudicated teens, IDPs in Iraq, and in conflict zones. Recent publications include Theatre Responds to Social Trauma (Routledge, 2024) and a book chapter, Fragments of the Self, in Memory, Trauma and Narratives of the Self (August 2024).
