I was born and raised in Teaneck, NJ (no boos necessary). At 15, I attended Mach Hach and decided that I would move to Israel when I grew up. Six weeks after graduating from the University of Maryland, I made aliyah. I attended Ulpan Etzion in Jerusalem and loved every second of it. Following that, I rejected my exemption letter from Lishkat HaGiyus and proudly served my country in COGAT. After 12/13 years of Yeshiva education, I finally learned Hebrew (with a strong American accent). I then attended Hebrew University of Jerusalem where I got my MA in Hebrew in Conflict Resolution and Mediation. Along the way I met a man in Tel Aviv who became my husband.. We lived in Nachlaot for a few years and then decided to move to NJ/NY. I got a second masters in teaching and have been teaching the last few years. I am also a mother to the most fantastic kids. Life is busy, hard, and entertaining.
