Jason Lipstein is a multifaceted artist, renowned as a singer, songwriter, saxophonist, and musician. Formerly the band leader of the Missing Time Jazz band, Lipstein gained recognition as an anthem singer for the Montreal Expos and Concordia Stingers. With extensive experience on Holland America and Carnival Cruise Lines, Lipstein has toured internationally, performing on prestigious ships like Zuiderdam, Zaandam, Amsterdam, and Paradise. He has also showcased his talents with the Swing Cafe Wedding Band Orchestra and the world-renowned Shaar Hashomayim Men's choir under the esteemed direction of Musical Conductor Stephen Glass for 11 years. Lipstein's musical journey includes recording three CDs, touring Europe thrice, and performing in iconic venues in New York and Florida. Notably, he contributed to Leonard Cohen's Grammy-winning album, 'You Want it Darker'. His latest single, "The Land of HPC", is available on major streaming platforms. Beyond his musical endeavors, Lipstein has imparted his knowledge by teaching children music for the EMSB & LBPSB. He also boasts a cinematic appearance as a musical extra in the film “Barney's Version”, adapted from the book by the late Mordechai Richler. In 2022, Lipstein embarked on a new chapter by relocating to Haifa, Israel, with his family, marking the start of an exciting new journey. He has since begun writing Op-Ed's for Israel National News (Arutz 7), comic creations for isratoons.com, and will be hosting future podcasts for Israel News Talk Radio.
