Jonathan Horowitz, alias Joho, is from Sharon, Massachusetts and currently serves as the Director of Community Engagement for Hillels of Westchester (HOW), where he connects students across the seven campuses part of the HOW network and the greater Westchester community. Before Hillel, Jon was a Jewish Studies teacher at Schechter School of Long Island and Bernard Zell Anshe Emet Day School in Chicago, IL. Jon lives for creating and fostering intentional Jewish communities that allow individuals to find their personal connection to being Jewish, whatever that may be. He lives in Great Neck, NY with his wife and daughter, who motivate him to do the work he does. When not writing or working, Jon enjoys listening to and talking about music, rooting on his New England Patriots and fantasy football teams, and cooking.
