Joseph Shumunov is a junior at Kalamazoo College, double majoring in Political Science and International Studies, concentrating in the Middle East. He has interned for the US Embassy in Azerbaijan and was recently a research intern at the Hudson Institute for Senior Fellow Dr. Michael Doran. Joseph also joined the Tikvah Fund, where he researched the growing Israel-Azerbaijan alliance and its potential for curbing Iranian regional power as a Beren Summer Fellow.
