Mr. Van De Riet is an experienced FDA regulatory attorney focusing on matters involving foods, dietary supplements, medical devices, and tobacco products. Mr. Van De Riet began his career as Regulatory Counsel at the Food and Drug Administration, Center for Tobacco Products, where he spearheaded efforts to implement the FDA’s deeming rule. After parting from the FDA, he worked as a human factor’s researcher, producing scientific and regulatory guidance to Israeli, European and American companies developing submissions for both EU notified bodies and the FDA. Mr. Van De Riet is currently an Associate Attorney for Benjamin L. England and Associates located in Glen Burnie, Maryland.
Mr. Van De Riet received is Juris Doctor from the University of Baltimore School of Law and his Masters of Laws in Health Law from Seton Hall University. He is also Regulatory Affairs Certified by the Regulatory Affairs Professionals Society.
