Manuel Lerdau is a Biologist (PhD Stanford, 1994). He currently serves as a Professor of Environmental Sciences at the University of Virginia. He studies the Biochemistry and Physiology underlying the exchange of materials between the Biosphere and the Atmosphere. He is a member of Congregation Beth Israel in Charlottesville, VA, a former Board Member there, and a former Chair of its Pre-School Committee.
