About Me

Born in NYC, Rabbi Marge Wise grew up in the Bronx and Queens. After her Bat Mitzvah, she joined the synagogue's USY youth group, went on to become its president, then a few years later, became the Youth Director of her synagogue. Married to a Rabbi until his passing in 1996, she taught adult education and she taught adults for their b'nei mitzvah. Following a stint teaching in a day school and then as the co-owner, with her mom, of a Judaica store, she became an active synagogue executive director until 2019. Rabbi Wise's ordination in 2021 is the realization of a life-long goal and a cherished hope which she nurtured for years.
