Matt Wexler, an American by birth, made Aliya from Canada last December with his wife Judith, fulfilling, as is often said, a lifelong dream after a 30 year career as a teacher/performer of cello, the last 22 years teaching and playing at the Crane School of Music (on a SUNY campus) in upstate NY. He has 2 undergraduate degrees from Oberlin (Psych and Music), a Masters from Yale and a mid-career Doctorate in Music Education from Teachers College (Columbia). The author now lives in Jerusalem.
