Rebecca Yousefzadeh Sassouni is an attorney and mediator in private practice at a Family Law Firm in Carle Place, Long Island. She currently serves in her third term elected to a public school board of education on Long Island, and its immediate past president. Sassouni is an officer and past president of SHAI, Sephardic Heritage Alliance, Inc. a nondenominational Persian Jewish not- for-profit organization without walls. Sassouni is a Matriarchist, enobled by and tethered to the fortitude and traditions of Persian Jewry-- family, Torah, Jewish peoplehood, and humanity.
