Formerly an EFL teacher and examiner, now working in airport ground-handling services to support his PhD studies in Old English at Zürich University. Particularly interested in literary hermeneutics and how it helps us read discourses of inclusion and exclusion, belonging and exile. Also loves travel writing and nature photography. Born into a British family in Modena, Italy, widely travelled, attended university in the UK at Aberdeen and Oxford, and now living in Switzerland with his beloved Tel Avivian wife.
