Seth earned an A.B. in History and Literature from Harvard, Ph.D. in comparative literature from Cornell, and ordination from the Reconstructionist Rabbinical College. He served several congregations (1992-2025), taught at colleges and high schools (Religious Studies, English, History, Theater), published his doctoral dissertation on French and English drama, and served as an editor on several projects. His blog, “Jewish 24-7,” is on Substack.com. He is a dual Israeli-U.S. citizen.
