Staff Sgt. Shachar Fridman was a member of the Paratroopers’ Brigade 101st Battalion who was killed while fighting Hamas terrorists in Gaza on November 19, 2023. He was 21. Fridman, who grew up in Jerusalem and was a graduate of Himmelfarb High School in Jerusalem, was active in the Bnei Akiva youth movement, working specifically with children on the autistic spectrum.
