Born and raised in Israel, the author served as a chief medic in the Golani Brigade before moving to the United States in 1980. An entrepreneur who founded manufacturing companies in both Israel and the US, he draws on decades of experience in both societies to write about Israel, US-Israel relations, and differing perceptions of events in the region.
