Vered Guttman is an Israeli-American activist and writer based in Washington, D.C.. After October 7 she became actively engaged in advocating for the release of Israeli hostages, an end to the wars across the region, and just and lasting peace.
Through community organizing, interfaith dialogue, and advocacy work, Vered works to foster empathy, coexistence, and reconciliation.
Vered is also a chef, food writer, and culinary historian. In 2014, she cooked for President Obama’s Passover Seder at the White House.
