The Iranian regime remains the most destabilizing force in the Middle East, a proxy of Russia and China, and the primary state sponsor of Islamic terrorism. From funding militias like Hezbollah and Hamas to building a nuclear weapons program that threatens global security, Iran has proven time and again that it is not just an adversary of the United States but an enemy of peace and progress in the region. To confront this growing menace, America requires leadership that is bold, decisive, and unrelenting in its commitment to counter Iran’s influence. This is why I support Tulsi Gabbard as the next Director of National Intelligence (DNI) in a Trump administration.

As a veteran, former congresswoman, and staunch critic of interventionist wars that have drained American resources, Tulsi Gabbard offers a unique combination of military discipline, pragmatic leadership, and a deep understanding of geopolitical threats. While her positions have sometimes drawn controversy, her willingness to speak truth to power and take principled stands against adversarial regimes is exactly what America needs in the fight against Iran.

Iran’s Global Threat Requires Relentless Action

The Iranian regime stands as the single greatest threat to stability in the Middle East and beyond. It operates as the key sponsor of global terrorism, funding and arming a network of destructive proxies. In Lebanon, Hezbollah acts as Iran’s long arm, destabilizing the region while threatening Israel. In Gaza, Hamas is emboldened by Tehran’s support. In Yemen, the Houthis wage a brutal war that undermines regional security, while in Iraq, militias like Hashd al-Shaabi act as Tehran’s pawns, further entrenching Iranian influence.

The regime’s reach, however, is not limited to the Middle East. Iranian sleeper cells, coordinated by the IRGC and Hezbollah, have been embedded across Europe and North America, posing a direct threat to U.S. homeland security. These networks lie in wait, funded and directed by Tehran, ready to act when the regime calls on them.

Meanwhile, Iran’s nuclear ambitions persist, despite international agreements and failed attempts to curtail them. The regime’s pursuit of nuclear weapons remains a clear and immediate danger to global security. Tehran has repeatedly lied to the international community, undermining trust while advancing its program under the cover of secrecy.

At home, the Iranian regime brutally suppresses its own people. The courageous men and women of Iran have shown time and again that they reject the mullahs’ tyranny, rising in protest despite facing imprisonment, torture, and death. Yet their cries for freedom remain largely unanswered.

Iran does not act alone. It is a stooge of Russia and China, strengthening an anti-Western alliance that seeks to reshape the global order. Russia leverages Iran as a destabilizing pawn in Syria and Eastern Europe, drawing American resources and attention away from other critical priorities. Meanwhile, China sustains Tehran’s ambitions with economic support and oil trade, providing the lifeline Iran needs to circumvent sanctions and continue its malign behavior.

Tulsi Gabbard understands this threat better than most. Her tenure on the House Foreign Affairs and Armed Services Committees gave her the expertise to assess the full extent of Iran’s influence. Her military service adds weight to her understanding of national security threats and the high cost of inaction against hostile regimes.

Gabbard’s clear-eyed assessment and decisive leadership are exactly what America needs to face the Iranian regime head-on. She recognizes that confronting Iran requires relentless action, strategic alliances, and a willingness to target Tehran’s networks wherever they operate. Her experience and resolve make her the ideal leader to direct America’s intelligence operations and counter Iran’s dangerous agenda.

Gabbard’s Role in Regime Change and Eliminating Iran’s Proxies

Tulsi Gabbard, as Director of National Intelligence (DNI), would be uniquely positioned to confront and dismantle Iran’s destabilizing influence with a decisive, intelligence-led strategy. Her leadership would unify America’s intelligence apparatus to systematically target Tehran’s regime, its proxies, and its dangerous global networks.

First, Gabbard would support regime change in Iran. For decades, the Iranian people have suffered under an oppressive theocratic regime that thrives on corruption, brutality, and misinformation. Gabbard’s leadership could amplify the growing discontent inside Iran by exposing the regime’s failures and empowering pro-democracy forces. Targeted information campaigns would undermine Tehran’s propaganda machine while bringing international attention to the bravery of the Iranian people fighting for freedom. By leveraging intelligence tools to weaken the regime’s iron grip, Gabbard would help lay the groundwork for meaningful change in Iran.

Ending Iran’s nuclear threat would be another top priority under Gabbard’s leadership. Tehran’s pursuit of nuclear weapons remains an existential danger to the Middle East and beyond. Through strengthened partnerships with allies like Israel, intelligence operations could be expanded to sabotage nuclear facilities, disrupt uranium enrichment, and cripple Iran’s weaponization efforts. At the same time, Gabbard’s strategy would target supply chains and financial networks that fund Tehran’s nuclear ambitions. Cutting off these critical resources would ensure that Iran’s nuclear program grinds to a halt.

Iran’s dangerous influence also extends far beyond its borders through a vast network of proxy militias and sleeper cells. Gabbard would direct America’s intelligence agencies to dismantle groups like Hashd al-Shaabi in Iraq and the Houthis in Yemen, cutting off the lifelines that keep these militias operational. Intelligence resources would also be deployed to identify and eliminate Iranian sleeper cells embedded in the United States, a hidden but imminent threat to American security. Working closely with the FBI, DHS, and counterintelligence units, Gabbard would ensure these cells are rooted out and neutralized.

Finally, Gabbard’s leadership could help rebuild a secure and stable Middle East by preventing Tehran’s resurgence. With the collapse of Hezbollah, Hamas, and Assad’s regime in Syria, Iran’s influence in the region is at its weakest point in years. Gabbard would work to ensure the vacuum left behind is filled with pro-Western alliances and governance, fostering stability rather than chaos. By strengthening ties with Israel, Gulf states, and emerging regional partners, Gabbard would isolate Tehran economically, politically, and militarily, blocking its ability to reassert control.

Tulsi Gabbard’s approach as DNI would combine strategic vision and operational precision to systematically weaken Iran’s regime and its proxies. From dismantling nuclear ambitions to neutralizing sleeper cells and empowering pro-democracy forces, Gabbard could deliver the relentless action needed to eliminate Tehran’s threat and restore security to the Middle East and beyond.

A New Kind of Leadership for a New Era

Tulsi Gabbard’s critics may label her an outsider, but that is precisely why she is the ideal candidate for DNI. She is not beholden to the traditional bureaucratic inertia that often slows decisive action. Gabbard would bring fresh, unapologetic leadership to the role—something desperately needed to confront the Iranian threat.

Her military background gives her an edge in understanding the operational complexities of the Intelligence Community. She knows how to prioritize the elimination of sleeper cells, disrupt terrorist financing, and leverage cyber tools to cripple Iran’s nuclear ambitions.

Gabbard’s no-nonsense approach aligns with Trump’s vision of an America that leads from a position of strength. By putting her in charge of U.S. intelligence, the administration would send a clear message to Iran and its allies: the days of appeasement are over.

Iran’s regime is on borrowed time. Its proxies are collapsing, its people are rising, and its nuclear ambitions face global resistance. Yet, despite these cracks in Tehran’s foundation, the regime remains a grave and evolving threat. It thrives on deception, violence, and terrorism, exploiting regional instability while expanding its influence through an intricate web of proxies, sleeper cells, and nuclear ambitions. This moment in history demands strong leadership and decisive action to ensure that the window of opportunity is not wasted.

The danger posed by the Iranian regime is twofold: its pursuit of nuclear weapons and its terrorist network that spans the globe. Iran’s nuclear ambitions represent an existential threat not only to the Middle East but to the entire world. The regime has repeatedly violated international agreements, enriching uranium in secret and advancing toward weaponization. A nuclear-armed Iran would embolden its proxies, shift the balance of power in the region, and force America and its allies into a dangerous position of vulnerability.

Simultaneously, Iran’s terror network operates as its primary tool of influence and destabilization. Proxies like Hezbollah, Hamas, the Houthis, and Hashd al-Shaabi militias act as extensions of Tehran, spreading violence from Lebanon to Gaza, Yemen to Iraq. These groups have fueled wars, targeted civilians, and launched attacks against U.S. interests and allies. Even more concerning are Iran’s sleeper cells, carefully embedded across Europe and North America, which pose a direct and immediate risk to U.S. homeland security. These cells lie dormant, waiting for orders from Tehran to carry out attacks on American soil, disrupt critical infrastructure, and target U.S. citizens.

The U.S. Intelligence Community must remain vigilant, unified, and proactive in its efforts to counter Iran’s malign activities. Iran’s regime has proven time and again its ability to adapt, evade sanctions, and exploit global weaknesses. Left unchecked, it will not hesitate to advance its nuclear capabilities, unleash its proxies, and use its sleeper cells to wreak havoc. Every U.S. intelligence agency—whether the CIA, FBI, NSA, or military intelligence—must align to confront this evolving threat. They must anticipate Tehran’s moves, expose its networks, and systematically dismantle its operations before they escalate into full-blown crises.

This is where Tulsi Gabbard’s leadership as Director of National Intelligence (DNI) becomes critical. Her strategic vision, military experience, and unwavering commitment to national security make her the ideal candidate to lead America’s intelligence efforts against Iran. Gabbard understands the high stakes and has the resolve to take bold, uncompromising action. Under her leadership, the U.S. Intelligence Community would prioritize:

  • Eliminating Iran’s nuclear ambitions through cyber sabotage, covert operations, and supply chain disruptions.
  • Neutralizing Tehran’s terrorist network by dismantling its proxy groups and uprooting sleeper cells.
  • Empowering the Iranian people by amplifying voices of dissent and exposing the regime’s corruption and brutality.

The stakes are higher than ever, and failure is not an option. A nuclear-armed Iran and an unchecked terror network would endanger not only U.S. allies like Israel and Saudi Arabia but also America itself. The regime’s defeat requires bold and relentless action, backed by unified intelligence operations and strong leadership.

With Tulsi Gabbard as DNI, America will have the leadership it needs to meet this challenge head-on. Her decisive approach will ensure that Iran’s regime is systematically dismantled, its nuclear ambitions are eliminated, and its terror networks are crushed. This is not just about protecting U.S. interests—it is about safeguarding global security and supporting the aspirations of the Iranian people for a free and democratic future.

Iran’s malign activities must be met with relentless force and unyielding resolve. Gabbard has both the vision and the experience to deliver that. It is time to face Tehran’s threat with the urgency and action it demands.
