There are those who would have the world believe that police killing of unarmed black men is rampant in the United States. Whenever an incident occurs, it is treated by most of the media and groups like BLM as one of the most common occurrences in America. If it were, there would be more headlines rather than the occasional incident that it statistically is.
There are close to 1,000,000 sworn police officers in America and millions of encounters between police and the citizenry on a daily basis. Most officers have never fired their weapons in the line of duty and most never will. When an incident does occur to where a weapon is fired, statistically it is most likely a white person being shot at. Headlines and chants have nothing to do with statistics.
If BLM cared about black lives, they would not ignore the black on black crimes that costs lives of black people of all ages. A black person in the United States is statistically more likely to die at the hands of another black person or persons. Instead of speaking out against the violence that results in loss of black lives, the majority of the media and organizations like BLM act as if the only violence that exists in America is caused by the police.
A month ago, was the anniversary of America formally notifying England of her independence and fighting a bloody war to get it. It is not known the total number of blacks who died, any more than any other group, since records are lacking, but the first one to die to end British tyranny and ensure Americans never bow before their leaders ever again was Crispus Attucks. It is believed that he was the first casualty of the Boston massacre.
Rather than celebrating independence, the family of Natalia Wallace mourned her death. During the July 4th weekend, the city of Chicago saw 87 shot, 17 died as a result. Natalie Wallace was one of the ones who lost her life. She was 7 years old when she died.
The police officers who arrived on the scene did not see her as just another black, but the body of a little girl. They did their due diligence and arrested Reginald Merrill, who is a 33-year-old black man. He has been charged with 1st degree murder. Police are still looking for three other suspects who were involved in the shooting.
If black lives mattered to BLM, why is their no outrage over abortions which have resulted in more loss of black lives than anything else in the history of the world? Planned Parenthood’s founder was Margaret Sanger, who was a eugenicist and believed black people should be segregated or sterilized. Her racism is at the root of the organization that has targeted black people more than any other and continues to do the job she started.
On February 28th of this year, Catherine Davis and Bradley Mattes published an op-ed in the Washington Examiner. According to the article, “The tragic reality is that 79% of Planned Parenthood abortion facilities are located within walking distance of neighborhoods that have proportionately higher populations of black… this kingpin of the abortion industry targets women of color, selling them the illusion that they must choose between career advancement and the lives of their babies.”
If black lives mattered to BLM, they would be protesting the public schools in the inner cities. They are places of chaos and violence, which makes it impossible for children to learn. Truancy and dropping out of school are far too common an occurrence for black children. Without a high school diploma, 90% of jobs become unavailable.
On May 22, 2017, Brandon Gaille, released some interesting statistics on his blog. 85% of juveniles who interact with the court system are functionally illiterate. 70% of adult inmates in prison cannot read above a 4th grade level. 90% of people who receive welfare are high school dropouts. If black lives mattered, there would not be deafening silence about the lost potential from BLM and much of the media.
If black lives mattered, organizations like BLM would be protesting city council meetings who write zoning laws. The zoning laws in the inner cities is what makes it difficult for any black person to start their own business. Zoning laws impact far more than housing, since they cover all facets of businesses that can legally operate within a given city.
Most cities prohibit businesses from being legally opened in someone’s house or apartment without the expense of a permit, if it is legal at all. Laws are written with the intent of causing confusion to prevent most people in the inner cities from ever legally starting any business. There is a sizable number of people who work out of their homes every day and work on a cash basis. They do everything from helping with taxes to cutting hair with no option to do anything in a legal manner.
If black lives mattered, any athlete who kneels during the American national anthem would be protested instead of praised. The protestors during the Civil Rights movement did not kneel before starting their jobs. They left the buildings they worked in to protest and risked everything to do it. Athletes lack the courage of their convictions and not one has risked anything close to what the protestors of the past were willing to risk. They are the equivalent of those who dodged the draft and fled to Canada, rather than stand for their beliefs and go to prison for their convictions.
Kneeling during the American anthem is a protest against those who have served in the military and sacrificed everything. The military graveyards are filled with black corpses buried next to white corpses. One of those heroes who is buried at Arlington National Cemetery was Lieutenant Colonel Lee Archer of the famed Tuskegee Airmen. He flew 169 combat missions in 11 countries and earned the Distinguished Flying Cross. When anyone kneels during the anthem or does anything disrespectful, it is the heroes like Lt. Col. Lee who are protested and disrespected.
If black lives mattered, BLM never would have supported the anti-Semitic organization of BDS. BDS has made it clear that they do not believe Jews are human and have no right to exist at all, which includes the Ethiopian Jews who live in Israel. In 2016, Haaretz published and article about BLM endorsing BDS. BLM continues to endorse the organization to this day and have shown themselves to have problems with anti-Semitism within their ranks.
Black lives do not matter to BLM, anymore than it matters to others who give real problems in the black community of the United States little more than lip service. They would rather tie themselves to the anti-Semitism of BDS than address anything that could have a positive impact on the black community. Being allied with known anti-Semites is increasing anti-Semitism from within their own ranks and continue to parrot the lies told about Israel and Jews.
