Book: Better Than You Wished For

I am open to proposals from book publishers. The following is an excerpt and sample of my most recent book:

Better Than I Wished For:

Anecdotes and meditations inspired by multidisciplinary wisdom to develop your own practice, enhancing your imagination and connection with Gd.

While making a wish for something I wanted to change within myself, what I found particularly important was to hone my imagination to better connect with Gd, myself, and inner wisdom. Our imagination has a strong impact on creating our reality. What follows are short meditations to uplift and inspire us to experience Gd as a closer partner. When we hold Gd close to us intimately, feeling that Gd’s presence is helping us, our reality becomes even better than we originally desired and imagined. When we can imagine that Gd (or the universe, whatever you call our collective energy, our “all”) is helping the world, we let Gd help the world.

I use peaceful and creative words, so we create a new reality as we read these easy meditations. Everything I write comes from real personal experiences, backed by a variety of Jewish wisdom as well as the discipline of hypnotherapy (as well as other sciences), described simply. I dive deep into the classic Jewish saying from the Lubavitch Rebbe, “Think good, and it will be good.”

Excerpts from Chapter 1

Direct thoughts and emotions the heart creates

Finding more peace

Find the best new place and new position for yourself. Breathe slowly; more deeply, and relax your body.

Pay attention to how your essence feels and relax it where it can be.

You are made of many particles vibrating like waves(1). As the gentle waves of the river become a little lower, the vibrations closer to each other, it is properly directed. You can bring your attention to relaxing yourself a bit further, your consciousness is getting closer to your source. Your source is connected to all there is and ever was.

Feel the energy of your muscles, this flow of perfect nutriment gently and perfectly flowing in and around you, there is energy all around.

Feel it everywhere and anywhere your vessel asks. All this gentle and meticulous activity is for you. It is warming your heart. From your heart, it is flowing to the rest of you. Your heart warms you continuously, without stopping. Complete love for you. Your heart releases more energy than any part of you – to you and to the rest of the world(2).

This heart is beating in perfect rhythm; it does its best with what it knows – what it knows it can do. You know that you try your best, and Gd knows that. Your heart wants to beat; beat for you. Your heart has a universe working for you.

Anywhere inside this universe, is your deepest connection to Gd, the Creator, and driving force of all that is. Allow yourself to feel its presence and love it. Be in flow with everything. There is only love; you only feel love; and you feel so close. You discover pleasure in seeing your true reality. “Delight thyself in HaShem; and He shall give thee the petitions of thy heart.”  (Psalms 37:4)

Patience with Prayer

Dear Gd, thank you that all our deepest desires are heard and do come true. When I kept you so close, as close to me as I could imagine, embracing me, soothing me and giving me clarity, dreams showed up step-by-step in the most surprising ways, getting woven into my life with poetry, only improving my garment.

Blessings and prayers answered come at any moment. I try to remember that You do not want me to ask when and how, but know that they can come at any instant. You are above time, and so we can enjoy your blessings out of sequence, in our minds. I feel kavvanah, this focus and flow in my mind, heart, and body; the essential meridians to be focused for proper prayer – connection with You. I delight in the feeling of any desire and dare not feel any sensation of need from You, my love that creates everything, but admire with a full heart the symbiosis of life. “And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.” (Deuteronomy 6:5)

Excerpt from Chapter 4

The world is recreated every moment

Shifting to a new reality

Dear Creator, how pleasant it is to meditate on how the world is continuously being recreated: every day, but also every moment. We are sparking in and out of this reality, several times per second (3,4). You have gifted us different feelings for aligning with You: emotional states of light. I humble myself to Your immense splendor – many attributes uniting and blending back and forth with each other; loving energy states of: giving, receiving and appreciating. I trust You. I have emunah; more than just faith, but coherence of heart and mind. I feel the inspiration, wholeness, peace, and love that everything is evolving harmoniously to delight with You, Hashem. This present is better than previously imagined because I attach myself to You. I keep entering into the present as my soul seeks to dwell in another energy-state.
