Book: Better Than You Wished For
Poetic Meditations Inspired by Science, Torah, and Life
Imagining with the help of Gd is an effortless experience of letting Gd guide our minds. We intellectually and emotionally connect to the unique and all encompassing love of Gd, naturally seeing Him as a partner in our thinking process and only helping. We relax, set aside our egos and conditioned expectations, and ask Gd in the most natural and effortless way to help us imagine and talk with him. Then, we allow Him to fill our hearts, minds, and entire bodies with unconditional love, enabling us to have answers to any specific question.
My writing is drawn from Jewish wisdom and the discipline of hypnotherapy (as well as other sciences), described simply. I explore concepts such as the classic Jewish saying from the Lubavitch Rebbe, “Think good, and it will be good.”
Table of Contents (of the full book):
Chapter 1: Surrendering to Beauty
Chapter 2: The Highest Form of Spirituality is Knowing One’s Self
Chapter 3: Direct Sensations and Emotions: the Heart Aligns More Than You Imagine
Chapter 4: The World is In Perpetual Recreation
Chapter 5: All Actions are Out of Inspiration and Love
Chapter 6: Only Positive Thoughts from People and for People
Chapter 7: With You, It is Better Than I Imagined
Excerpt from Chapter 3:
If you can feel what you would naturally feel if you were in in your desired reality, you would see changes in yourself immediately and blessings quickly. They will sometimes be in steps, but steps that fill your soul with joy and make you feel like you are expressing your truest self.
Gd responds to what we focus on the most predominantly. We might always be working on learning/self-development, while also receiving blessings. Right now, do you want to be more in the mode of learning or in the mode of receiving blessings?
Unveiling Inner Calm
Together, we breathe more deeply,
And relax our essence with the beat of each breath.
We are slowly descending the steps from our conscious
To our subconscious, that lead down to a river.
We are in no hurry; we take our time, savoring each step.
The air feels clear, and the wind caresses us gently.
One step after the other, we are descending,
We are as relaxed as we desire to be.
The surface of the river shines with the brightness of the sun –
A pretty illusion, and yet, hidden from our eyes,
The sun energizes the river’s molecules,
Releasing its chosen few into the air above,
Attaining a new state of being.
We sense the river’s gentle breath kissing our skin,
A whispered invitation carried on the wings of the breeze.
It doesn’t need to be beautiful, and yet it is.
We are one with the river.
We are the river.
We marvel at the wonder that we are made of many particles:
Sometimes particles, sometimes waves, vibrating.
We feel in harmony with everything around us –
The particles and energy-waves that surround us- that actually are us –
Waves that join with each other.
We are in flow.
All is One.
We are the most beautiful river we know,
And we can take the path that we want.
The motion of the river gives us strength.
Now more relaxed, our consciousness connects to its Source.
We feel endless warmth.
All this activity is for You.
All this gentle and meticulous activity is for You and warms our heart.
Our heart, which emits the most powerful energy there is.
Our heart, releasing more energy than any other part of our bodies,
Revealing itself to the entire universe as fractals:
Ripples that repeat themselves, repeating themselves as ripples.
The world was created with fractals.
The world continues to be presented in this reality through fractals.
As the gentle tides of the river become a little lower,
The vibrations closer to each other,
Our hearts beat in perfect rhythm.
Our hearts want to beat; beat for You
Like every particle that makes us up.
We stay in the flow, and there is only love.
It’s the only thing we see.
We feel deep gratitude.
We feel at One all around.
We feel lightness and pure bliss.
“So shall You delight yourself in HaShem; and He shall give thee the petitions of your heart” (Psalms 37:4).
