Change is urgent.
We wake up daily with a bitter taste in our mouths, a remnant of a restless night that reflects the current state of our nation. Benjamin Netanyahu, the master of empty promises and destructive policies, continues to lead Israel into an abyss, masking his incompetence with inflammatory speeches and decisions that push us further into chaos.
Netanyahu is a snake charmer who feeds on fear, a leader who prefers the shadow of war to the light of peace. He promised total victory over Hamas, but what we see is a trail of devastation, a desolate land where hope fades with each bombing. Gaza is a field of ruins, and the promise of security has turned into an endless nightmare.
Meanwhile, he flirts with disaster by antagonizing Iran, as if history has not taught us that bravado comes at a cost. He and his far-right group, always hungry for more power, treat human life as mere currency. Instead of dialogue, they choose confrontation, ignoring that each attack generates a response, and each death sows more hatred.
Netanyahu’s allies are complicit in this tragedy. His ministers and advisors were obsessed with maintaining power, instigating violence, and propagating division. They sell us the illusion of an impenetrable fortress while our internal defenses erode. Democracy, once our most incredible pride, is being dismantled piece by piece, with judicial reforms that only aim to perpetuate the tyranny of a disconnected elite.
And where is the international community? Biden, despite his outbursts against Netanyahu, still supports this farce, sending weapons and military aid, fueling a vicious cycle of aggression. Meanwhile, the innocent pay the highest price, turned into statistics in an endless conflict.
Netanyahu should learn that true strength lies in dialogue and in the ability to build bridges instead of walls. But he refuses to see beyond his inflated ego, guided by a myopic vision of absolute power. Each decision of his is a step towards destruction, a spark that further ignites regional tensions.
We need a new direction, leaders who value life above all and who understand that peace is not achieved with bombs but with words and gestures of reconciliation. Netanyahu’s legacy will be remembered as a period of darkness, a time when the politics of fear prevailed over reason and humanity.
Change is urgent. We must tear down Netanyahu’s walls of hatred and rebuild our society on the foundations of justice and compassion. Only then can we dream again of a future where peace is not a mirage but a tangible reality.
