Confused? No confusion here

If anyone is still confused about Iran’s intent, this photo is the official (and very immature) tweet of the Iranian News Agency this morning – a few hours ago and offers so much clarity.

To me, it clearly shows their intent, their complete control of Hezbollah (as if it was in doubt) and their absolute hatred of Zionists with no discrimination.

To me, it clearly also shows the absolute critical need for the measures and actions that we must take in order to protect and defend ourselves.

Am I confused – NO!

I won’t pretend for a second not to be worried about what lies ahead – of course I am – I am a father and husband and I am actually someone who would prefer to live in peace and without death all around me.

But I am not confused about Iran’s intent – it is clear….since 1979…to work towards a clear goal of wiping out my country and people…as they put it so eloquently – “Death to America and Death to Israel”.

Whether they try to launch an attack in 2 minutes, 2 hours, 2 days or 2 years from now this is their plan and the attack on 7th October, in which the WSJ back in October revealed 500 Hamas operatives trained in Iran is one of many examples, albeit the most damaging.

People from time to time ask why I invest so much time writing on this blog site and Linkedin and other places. It is simply that my country, my family and I are under a total threat of annihilation coupled with a parallel campaign of misrepresenting the intentions of my people and me directly by accusing me of genocidal aims. This is the ultimate misdirection and hypocrisy.

These are not normal times and I can’t sit still whilst this is happening. I am not able to fight but I can to some extent write and put forward my perspective in a sea of anti-semitic/anti-Zionist noise.

Israel is far from a perfect country and we have a lot to improve but it is still a shining light of democratic values and positive contribution to the world surrounded by a number of vicious bullies (as well as some friends) whose intent is clear.

I may be worried but I am not confused and we must defeat the terror that threatens our existence and the values of much of the world.
